Over the past few weeks, I have been chewing on an idea that I can’t get out of my head. An insight that I’ve never had before. An idea that I wish I would have picked up on sooner.
It’s tied to the difference between winning and losing.
It’s tied to achievement.
It’s tied to growth and becoming a top performer. An elite athlete. A renowned scholar. A billionaire investor. To overcoming addiction or alcoholism. To living a life the way that you want to live it, free from the chains of society or the pressure of friends and family.
……..It might be tied to everything. It’s such a profound insight, that I can’t stop contemplating the right way to articulate it.
And, I’m not there yet. But in my morning reading, I came across this -> WHICH HIT ME HARD AF. Because it speaks to the same concept.
“As to methods there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
I’m going to write my follow up this week and tell you the profound insight that was injected into my blood stream.
Click the follow button (wordpress) now to make sure you get it straight in your inbox. Hopefully, you won’t have to chew on how to think about it. You’ll just get it. That’s my goal. To clarify this concept in way where you don’t have to articulate it. You just get injected with it. And it has the same impact on you that it did me.
See you soon.
