It seems so dreamy. The perfectly landscaped yard in the designer neighborhood. The designer job – 8 to 5. Dinner on the table by 6. Late night TV from 7 to 9.

Rinse and Repeat.

Until one day we ask ourselves a simple question. One that I don’t even have to put here because you already know what it is.

What you might not know, is the answer. Which is actually simple and obvious.

I have personally gone to war with this question. Live happy I tell myself.

Eat the cookie, you love it. Forget the exercise, you hate it. Work endless hours at the job, you can’t afford life without it.

Forget your creative fire, it doesn’t pay you. Forget exotic trips and extravagant adventures, those are for retirement. Sit on the couch and watch tv while your kid plays by herself – she’s fine, she has toys.

And then it smacks me right in the face. HARD.

This is the formula for mediocracy………Which is fine, if you want to live a mediocre life.

The problem is. I don’t. You don’t. We don’t.

But we don’t know the next step. And what we see or hear or feel is too hard or confusing.

There is a secret that only a few have seemed to figure out.

And, we know them when we see them.

It’s not the car they drive or the clothes they wear.

It’s the look on their face. It’s the way they can light up an entire room within seconds of entering it.

Rich, poor, dumb, smart……it doesn’t matter. These are metrics that mean nothing in their world because they live by a different set of standards.

Higher Standards. 

They don’t fall victim to senseless notions or titles. They are one thing and one thing only.

PERFORMERS.

And not isolated performers that are only good at one thing. They work to elevate every area of their life because they know that fulfillment is found in WORKING HARD.

They know that true optimization comes from ABSOLUTE OPTIMIZATION. In every area of their life.

They take time to GIVE BACK emotionally, physically, financially.

They work to SOLVE PROBLEMS and take care of their own baggage.

They don’t project PROBLEMS onto others or NEGATIVITY or DRAMA.

When they walk through doors they present love, happiness, hope, humility, and gratitude.

When they see you, they smile.

When you ask, they help.

Your improvement is their satisfaction.

Your elevation is their accomplishment.

They serve purposes greater than their own.

Because that’s WHAT MATTERS.

They don’t just show up, they dive in.

They take time to have meaningful conversations with their children, partners, and friends.

They acknowledge the potential to improve and they continuously reflect on their setbacks and failures.

They constantly get back up. They constantly move forward.

They know the importance of working towards financial FREEDOM.

The importance of building VITALITY.

The importance of unleashing their CREATIVITY.

And they do WHATEVER it takes to get there.

They kick down every door that has ever been put in their way and they say “NO” to the ridiculous notion of comfort.

They work towards MASTERING their capabilities so that they can break free from the chains of society.

They challenge the people who pull the strings & yell I CAN’T HEAR YOU to the gate keepers.

They have discovered that every single thing in this world, worth having and living for, is FREE.

And they know that EVERY DREAM IS ATTAINABLE.

To be honest. I could care less if you have ever met this kind of person.

All I CARE ABOUT IS YOU BECOMING ONE.

The question that we have is whether or not this is all that our lives were meant to be.

The answer is simple and obviously. Absolutely Not.

The secret that few have tapped into, is how simple it is to change.

I now live under the notion that Nothing is Unattainable.
